Provosts Conference Room

Our task with this project was to insert a contemporary conference room, with full teleconference capabilities into Jose Luis Sert’s Holyoke Center. We were able to capitalize on Sert’s original intent of filtering Southern light at the window plane. The intimate space was intended to be dark enough to televise, yet bright enough to serve working functions. We successfully balanced these elements with careful lighting choices and organized placement.
