The program for this guesthouse includes sleeping quarters for two children and two adults, sitting area with bookshelves, kitchenette, bathroom and outdoor space. The design stems from the notion of inhabiting the fold. The volume of space originated as a cube, filling programmatic needs. Each façade was compacted by finding a central point of compression; thus reducing the overall massing.
