Bishoff Loft ​

The goal of this project was to effectively divide the Bishoff Loft into areas of definitive function, yet retain the spacious, holistic feeling of an open plan loft.  This was achieved through the creation of phenomenal transparencies – spatial organization based upon the mind’s interpretation of environmental clues – through the use of continuous lines of light maple built-in cabinets that provide a constant rhythm throughout the loft.  Juxtaposed against these, darker idiosyncratic cabinets are inserted to provide definition and hierarchy.
